Tapered Contact Bearing Swivel

Here at Wood's Logging we stock bearing equipped and non-bearing equipped swivels for use on cranes and rigging applications. A bearing-equipped swivel is designed to be rotated under load. These are available in tapered roller thrust bearings or angular contact bearings. A non-bearing equipped swivel is a positioning device and is not intended to rotate under load.

Our Tapered Bearing equipped swivel is available in capacities from 3 to 45 tons and is individually proof tested to 2 times the Working Load Limit. The models available are S-1 Jaw and Hook, S-2 Jaw and Jaw, S-3 Jaw and Eye, S-4 Eye and Jaw, S-5 Eye & Eye, and S-6 Eye and Hook. Tapered Bearing swivel is suitable for frequent rotation under load. They are not, however, to be used on demolition/wrecking balls.
