Bashlin Anchorage / Boom Straps

Bashlin Boom Straps are made of 10,000 lb. test nylon web and have nylon pads to protect the fiberglass boom. The hardware is plated for corrosion resistance. The standard length is 55″.

703 Boom Strap

  • Fits most bucket trucks.
  • Constructed from 1 3/4" nylon web.
  • Designed as a fall protection anchor on the boom.
  • Features a nylon pad to protect the boom & a friction buckle.
  • For trucks w/ tapered booms use the 703R.

No. 2011P Anchor Strap

  • Constructed from 1 3/4" nylon web.
  • Features 2  O-Rings
  • Designed so the one O-ring will pass through the other O-ring for easy application.
  • Stocked lengths are 36" & 48".

703R Boom Strap with Ratchet

  • Fits trucks with tapered booms.
  • Designed as a fall protection anchor on the boom.
  • Can also be used as an anchor for removing an injured worker from the basket.
  • Features a nylon pad to protect the boom & a ratchet binder.

2012P Anchor Strap

  • Constructed from 1-3/4" nylon web.
  • Features two formed eyes instead of hardware.
  • Designed so one eye fits through the other for easy application.
  • Stocked lengths are 36" & 48".

703R-2D

  • Single strap w/ two d-rings & a ratchet.
  • Designed for use on a vehicle w/ an over center lift.
  • As device moves over center the user moves the snaphook to the second d-ring.
  • When the boom is coming down the snaphook is moved to the first d-ring.
  • Not for use by more than one individual, each worker must have their own strap.

Anchorage Connectors

Bashlin offers three metal anchorage connectors. The 3730/3732 series are permanent, while the 5396 is temporary. All are rated at 5000 lb tensile strength.
